AlliA joins forces with EDF on the EPR2 program
AlliA has taken a major step forward in its industrial development by signing its first contract with EDF for the EPR2 program, a strategic project for the revival of nuclear power in France. The contract, officialized at the World Nuclear Exhibition (WNE), confirms AlliA’s ability to work on complex and demanding projects in the nuclear sector.
A key contract to strengthen AlliA's nuclear expertise
This first contract with EDF marks a turning point for AlliA, making it a significant industrial partner in the future EPR2 reactors. Alongside its partners – notably ACM and Onet Technologies – AlliA will contribute to the design, manufacture and supply of tubular heat exchangers, essential equipment in the cooling circuit of reactor building pools when they are shut down.
These exchangers play a crucial technical role in the treatment of effluents produced by the plant, guaranteeing the safety and performance of nuclear installations.
